DISCLAIMER, LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

Definition of "Official" The term "official" as used in this agreement refers to all instructors, advisors, administrators, and any other staff members of the Karate Academy of Power, as well as any other students who may be acting in an official capacity on behalf of Karate Academy of Power, such as student assistants or leaders.

Risk of Injury
The undersigned acknowledges that the risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death. The undersigned acknowledges that while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist. The undersigned knowingly and freely assumes all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Releasees or others, and assume full responsibility for their participation.

Compliance with Terms and Conditions
The undersigned willingly agrees to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If the undersigned observes any unusual significant hazard during their presence or participation, they will remove themselves from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately.

Release and Indemnity
The undersigned, for themselves and on behalf of their heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby releases, indemnifies, and holds harmless Karate Academy of Power, its officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (“RELEASEES”), with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property, whether arising from the negligence of Releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Understanding of Agreement
The undersigned has read this release of liability and assumption of risk agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that they have given up substantial rights by signing it, and sign it freely and voluntarily without any inducement.

The term "participation" as used in this Disclaimer, Liability, and Indemnity Agreement refers to any and all activities related to the Karate Academy of Power, including but not limited to classes, training sessions, events, competitions, and any other related activities.

I acknowledge that I am fully responsible for the use and proper maintenance of any equipment provided to me by Karate Academy of Power and agree to return such equipment in the same condition as when received, reasonable wear and tear excepted.

I agree to comply with all rules and regulations of Karate Academy of Power and understand that failure to do so may result in my expulsion from the program without a refund.

This Disclaimer, Liability and Indemnity Agreement shall be binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.

I acknowledge that this Disclaimer, Liability and Indemnity Agreement represents the entire understanding between myself and Karate Academy of Power and supersedes all prior written and oral understandings and agreements between the undersigned and Karate Academy of Power.

I understand that Karate Academy of Power may use my contact information to provide me with updates, news, and promotional material related to Karate Academy of Power, and I consent to such use.

I understand that this Disclaimer, Liability, and Indemnity Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Karate Academy of Power operates and that any legal action arising from or related to my participation in the Karate Academy of Power program must be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction.
